THE SALE OF THIS AKC SHIH TZU DOG IS GOVERNED BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
1. The total purchase price is $________ with Pet Registration as defined by AKC (American Kennel Club). Shipping is not included. Monies are non-refundable. Contract will be terminated if monies are not received by Seller within seven days of agreed upon date by Seller and Buyer. Registration fees are sole responsibility of Buyer.
2. To the best of Sellers knowledge and belief, said puppy is in sound health, free from symptoms of contagious and infectious diseases at the time of sale. No further health guarantee is made or implied. If the buyer believes, upon arrival, said puppy is to be sick, the animal should be immediately taken to a veterinarian of the buyer's choice at the buyer's expense.
3. A Replacement Warranty is granted to Buyer from twelve months from Date of Sale. Replacement Warranty is given for any life-threatening congenital disease not common to the brachycephalic breeds that might cause said puppy to expire. A notarized Autopsy Report and a notarized Veterinarian Report with findings stating, to a medical certainty, that the death was in fact caused from the prenatal state will be required. Buyer will be required to send the notarized documents by registered mail along with all the puppy's medical records. Sellers Veterinarian must confirm and agree with the diagnosis. The Seller will then grant the Buyer a replacement puppy of equal value, same gender, from the next available litter. Replacement Warranty will be terminated if puppy was found to be abused, neglected, or does not have up to date records of vaccinations and fecal records.
4. As of date of delivery, said puppy has received proper vaccinations and de-worming. Buyer will receive current medical records for said puppy. Buyers' warranty does not cover diseases for which vaccinations could prevent.
5. The Seller will assume no shipping costs associated with the sale or Replacement Warranty.
6. The Seller assumes no responsibility for medical expenses, mortality, landlord's disapproval, allergy, or other undesirable circumstances once dog has left the Sellers premises.
7. The Seller offers no guarantee as to adult size of said puppy. Estimated size at time of sale of said puppy is based solely on Sellers experience and traits recognition.
8. The Seller offers no guarantee of color for said puppy. Because the Shih Tzu breed is normally double-coated, their color may lighten or darken as they mature, and will almost always be lighter is the dog is shaven, as the undercoat is lighter. Estimated color at time of sale of said puppy is based solely upon Sellers experience and traits recognition.
9. Hernias must be certified by Buyers Veterinarian to be currently life threatening and to have rendered the puppy unfit for purchase, in order for surgical reimbursement consideration.
10. Said puppy is sold with a Limited Registration as defined by AKC. Buyer agrees to neuter or spay said puppy before the age of twelve months i.e. ________ and agrees that said puppy will not be used for stud or for breeding. Limited AKC registration papers will be released for Companion Pets after proof of spay or neuter is received by Seller.
11. Buyer agrees that no charge backs will be filed through PayPal on this transaction for any reason whatsoever.
12. Seller reserved the right of first refusal should Buyer chose to place said puppy.
13. Seller will "Take Back" the dog if the Buyer has fallen on hardship and is unable to render appropriate care for the dog. No money will be refunded and Buyer is responsible for shipping, if required. AKC papers must be returned with the dog.
14. Any disputes will be litigated in Sellers choice of county and state within the USA at Buyers expense.
15. Warranty applies to original Buyer only, and is not transferable if said puppy is resold.
16. Buyer agrees to treat said puppy with respect, patience and understanding. Adequate food, shelter and companionship will be provided for said puppy by the Buyer at all times.
